I plan on brewing BCS’ Weiznebock recipe. The problem is I got a pretty low AA Hallertau via mail (3.0) so the 2oz only get me to around 16 IBU. The recipe calls for 21 IBU. I have 1oz of 7.1AA Perle in my freezer. I’ve only used it once in my German Pils and it tastes great but I’m not sure how it will taste in a Weizenbock. It’s a pretty clean bittering flavor but i get a slight floral/minty flavor from it that may be out of place in a weizenbock. It’s no problem for me to run to the store and grab some more hops just curious if I can save myself a trip
I grabbed some hallertau from the store just in case.
