Water report, now what?

Just received my water report! I also downloaded Bruin water. Hopefully I can figure that out sometime soon. Any ideas what styles my water would be good for? I have never added anything to my brews so far so that is all new to me. Thanks for the input.

Alkalinity is a bit high, but not too bad. You’re good as is for mid colored beers. You’ll want to add some sulfate for hoppy stuff, cut your water with distilled for really light colored beers, and use some pickling lime to pull up the pH for dark beers. I suggest you download a copy of Brunwater https://sites.google.com/site/brunwater/ and read through the water knowledge section.

Thanks Denny! I have downloaded it and am in the process of reading it. Can’t wait to try it out.
