We brewed the Waldo Lake Amber this past weekend - exactly per the NB recipe.
I plugged the grain bill into BrewMate. It told me I should have an OG of 1.069 at 65% Efficiency.
The recipe sheet on NB says the OG should be 1.063, but doesn’t give an efficiency reading. From a previous email to NB about a different kit, they told me the calculat kits at 75%.
Lo and behold, our OG was 1.063 and efficiency was 75%.
So - is BrewMate that far off?
