Vienna Logger base malt

I am panning on brewing a vienna soon. I was thinking a simple malt bill like 97 Vienna malt and 3 carafa 2. I see most recipes with pilsner and other malts. Any thoughts?

I’ve done a couple of all-Vienna malt bills for a Vienna lager. Came out fine, although my lager-making skills were lacking in those days. There also something to be said for a bill of pils and some Munich, I find it to be a little more bready than the all-Vienna.

Thanks, I think I will add some plisner and munich malt, but keep it mostly Vienna.
