At what point can I put it in the boil? @ 10 minutes? The bottle that I have doesn’t have any instructions on it.
That should be fine.
Are you adding it to the brew pot or the yeast starter?
I’ve added nutrient to the last 5 of the the starter’s boil in two batches; and added none to the brew pot itself.
Both batches exhibited lots of bubbler activity within 3-4 hours. The second batch got so vigorous that it blew the lid off my fermenter bucket. Maybe a starter AND nutrient on a 1.05-ish 5-gal is overkill…
The stuff definitely works.
