Using wyeast

Hello if i take a wyeast smack pack an let it swell at room temp an then put it into my fermentation freezer that I have control… Meaning if I want to pitch at 62F an i let the wyeast smack pack swell at room temp an then put it into my control freezer with the temp set to about 57f to 58f i like to pitch little below my fermentation temp. Now would that do anything to the yeast ?

No, pitching cold yeast into warmer wort is not a problem. I haven’t had a problem pitching yeast into colder wort, but I know some people have reported issues.
