I made cider with white labs farmhouse yeast and let it go to the desired flavor. Then I killed it with campden tablets. Now I want to bottle and carbonate and I want to use cider yeast for carbonating. Any thoughts?
Not sure if it would work. There is no doubt residual Campden, plus alcohol and very low sugar, so your additional yeast could take forever to carbonate the cider. You can try it but you might still end up with a still cider.
