Does anyone have any experience with US-05 leaving floating bits on the top of their beer?
I have a beer in the freezer that looks like it has some floating bits in the top, and I can’t recall experiencing this with this yeast.

I have had several occasions where the 05 left an entire rubbery blob on the top (the remains of the krausen).
Poked a hole through after a week or so and racked to a secondary. Turned out to be fantastic beer.
That’s exactly what I was hoping to hear 
I use US-05 almost exclusively and I’ve had a few times where the krauzen just would not drop. I’m not sure why it sometimes does that but I usually give a solid two weeks in the primary.
All the time. It’ll filter out in the end.
