Can anyone help me determine the type of hop growing in backyard. Bought house that a past owner planted. All I was able to obtain is that the past owner traveled the world and brought back plants that are now part of the yard. Hops included.
Can just go for it and make a batch of beer, better if I know close to what they are.

Almost impossible to tell by sight. You need a DNA analysis to really know.
If they smell nice you could try using them for an aroma addition. Maybe dry some and make a tea to get an idea if you like them. You won’t know what they are but you can certainly use them. Why don’t you call the guy you bought the house from or talk to the neighbors .
Make a one gallon SMASH, with extract, for a taste.
