Transfer to 3rd vessel to bottle?

So when I bottled my first hard cider I lefr the sediment in the secondary and I ended up getting a lot of it in the bottles.
When I bottled my IPA I transferred into a third vessel so I could bottle from that bucket and not get a lot of the sediment at the bottom of the bottles.
By taking away the sediment did I mess up the carbonation process?

Carbonation will still be normal. The sediment is heavier proteins and hop debris. There will be suspended yeast in your IPA to take care of carbonation.

A lot of brewers do secondaries which is what you did. Normally you would secondary for a period of time before racking to a third vessel aka bottling bucket with plenty of yeast left for priming

Don’t forget that you naturally have sediment if you bottle condition.
