Too much yeast?

I am doing a yeast starter for the first time.

I just took the 2000ml starter off it’s first run on the stir plate. Planning on doing a second run on the plate tomorrow.

Will this bee too much yeast for the 5 gal batch of stout I will be using it for?

What yeast are you using and what was the manufacturing date on it?

What do you mean by first and second run? Where does the starter go between “runs”?
Are you adding more wort for the second? Are you cold crashing and decanting then stepping up?
What’s the actual volume in the vessel that your using. Etc.
