Tom Crean's

Just got back from a trip to Ireland. There’s a small brewery in Dingle that makes this pale ale. It’s named after a guy from a town nearby that was on the Shackleton expedition to the South Pole. Pretty good beer. I’d call it mostly like an English pale.

FYI- if your looking for bitter, hoppy beers then Ireland is not the place to go. Creamy stouts, balanced pales, and continental lagers is what I found. And I liked ‘em. Brought home a 5 lb souvenir around my middle to prove it! Slainte’.
