Third stage for Mead

I have some mead that needs to be bottled soon but it’s in the back bedroom and I’m afraid the sediment will get mixed up to much when bringing it to the kitchen. Would it be alright to transfer the mead to another carboy (in the bedroom) and let it sit for a day or two before moving it to the front of the house to bottle it? The sediment in the carboy now looks pretty thick.

:?:

Either option is fine. I like to limit the items I have to clean and sanitize. So I would move it an gently as possible and let it sit for a day or two before bottling.

If you are going to be bottling it, why not just rack to a bottling bucket and carry the bucket to the other part of the house to bottle?

Stop thinking logically!

Very good point wish I had thought of that.
