Made this in Feb with Abbey II. It started out very harsh. The flavor has really opened up in the last month.

Highly recommend this one!

I brewed this one in October of 2010. Didn’t expect the fast fermenatation and how much heat the fermentation would produce. The fusel alcohols have finally mellowed enough for the beer to be drinkable.

I didn’t quite taste fusel alcohols in the recent bottles. The early samples were so rough that it was hard to focus on a single flaw. I don’t recall mine producing that much heat when I was fermenting. My basement was fairly cold at the time.
