Does anybody know the alcohol tolerance of this yeast? I brewing a barleywine, well my buddy is and its his first one, and he’s only got Thames valley ale yeast at his house. Picking up a different yeast isnt a problem at all. Just thought I’d ask and see if anybody thinks this yeast would do a good job.

10%
Of course several variables can play with that number.
Sweet link. Thanks
Most yeasts that are available to home brewers can handle up to 10%.
I can only comment on my perceived tastes using Wyeast 1275 and that it is clean and well balanced. Like the description at Wyeast website.
