Taking a final hydro reading

I have always noticed this in the past that sometimes when you are ready to keg/bottle, there is some carbonation in the beer which causes the hydrometer to be more buoyant; I’m assuming of course. Should I let it sit at room temp for a day before taking the actual reading or am I over-thinking this?

you can poor the sample back and forth into another vessel to off-gas some co2. Then spin the hydrometer in the sample to dislodge any co2 bubbles from sticking to the side of it
