While I was chilling my wort today, my MP3 player slid from a hoodie pocket into the wort.
This was the easiest brew day ever, a simple recipe in short time with a 20 minute boil.
It was so easy it felt like cheating.
I will NOT worry about whatever the MP3 player added to the wort,
but I will need a new source of tunes for my next brew day!
Next time spray a little sanitizer on it before you add it.
…or boil it for 15 minutes or so. I was thinking of dry ipodding my last batch but people have said it leaves a weird apple flavor. Personally, I think that’s been debunked but I didn’t want to take a chance.
I vote vodka tincture at bottling. Boiling adds to much bittering that just won’t age out.

LOL! I see what you did there.
taste is everything that’s why you should not compromise with it’s quality.
