I just started getting pellet hops in bigger than 1-ounce bags. I hope to save a few bucks.
When I vacuum seal the hops for storage, do I need to take precautions against light too? i.e. keep them in a box in the bags? or are there opaque vacuum bags?
You should store them in the freezer, where it will be dark anyway. So no extra steps required to guard against light.

Funny. My kids 30. 23 and 21 all say they now drive their spouse/roommates crazy by hassling them to turn lights off! So rest assured the message will one day sink in JMcK!
