I am going to brew the NB spiced winter ale kit this weekend. However, I have been reading a lot of reviews stating that the beer is over spiced. On the other hand, I have not ready many solutions to the problem. I was wondering if there was anyone out there that has brewed this kit more than once and was able to tame the spices? I like a spiced beer, but I do not like a beer that is over spiced. Any suggestions?
I also ordered that kit. I read those same reviews and I will make the kit per instructions simply because most of the reviewers added all the spice and gave it a thumbs up. It comes down to your personal taste. I always like to brew a kit per the instructions the first time over and decide for myself.
