Sparkolloid for Beer?

I use sparkolloid for my cider – works great. But I never used it for beer.

If anyone has used sparkolloid with their beer, I’m curious to know how it worked out. Any ill-effects?

I looked this stuff up on our sponsor, and one of the reviewers doesn’t seem to think it works for beer. With beers, I generally get really clear beer from cold-crashing the fermenter after fermentation, adding gelatin, then racking to packaging after 5 days or so.
