Just a note to all of the real users here. I’m posting in “General” rather than in “Admin” with the hope this will get more views. First thank you to all who post the user names of spammers. Some find ways to get past the preventative measures NB has to stop them.
For those who do not know, there is a topic in the Admin section called “We’ve Got Spam” This is the best way to get them banned and posts deleted. Just copy and paste or type their user name and if they are spammers, poof they are gone. The second method is to use the report post button. It is the shape of a yield sign with an exclamation point. That does not always work as well because a moderator or admin may not see the report. Most of the time the only reason I see a report is after the spammers name was posted in We’ve Got Spam.
Again thanks to all who keep us alerted to spam. Sure we catch some before someone lets us know but most of the time its the real forum members that are here to talk about beer that tip us off.
