Just picked up a six pack after having it on draught a couple of weeks ago. It’s surprisingly good and tastes like it was brewed to style with quality ingredients. I have not tried a lot of commercial examples of the czech pils style but have brewed several batches, and this tastes pretty spot-on. I am not a big fan of their session beers but this just might be their best one.
If you would tell Chechs that their beloved beer is Eurostyle they would beat you over the head.
Eurostyle pils is derogatory name for beer that is produced by big multinational corporations like Heineken, AB/InBev, SAB/Miller.
