Sort of a steam beer

G’day all
I was planning to put down a steam beer soon but when I checked the hop supply saw that I didn’t have any Northern Brewer hops left. I’m on a bit of a drive to reduce the quantity and range of hops I have at the mo so thought that I would make up a hop bill with what I have on hand. How does this look? Will the Northdown work as a later addition hop? (Sorry for the metric measures…).
Cheers

Looks fine to me. Northdown will work as a late addition. They are supposed to be earthy and resiny. Supposed to be similar to a mix of goldings and brewers gold

Good luck

Thanks very much for that. Appreciate the advice. I’ll let you know how it turns out.

I think that looks nice. Northern Brewer is preferred but I see Northdown working nicely in its place and the 2112 will do you up righteous on this style. I have the grains, hops and yeast ready to make one myself… now I just need the time to make it! Cheers Mate.

Thanks very much, Ken. I always appreciate your advice. As one inclined to be a bit wicked occasionally, I look forward to being done up righteous  . I’ll let you know how it goes! And I look forward to trying your ‘Home Run Red’ on top of this perhaps.
Good on you, cobber.
