Slow fermentation on cider

I pitched Nottingham yeast 2 days ago and still have no activity in my fermenter gravity is the same as 2 days ago also at 1.064 should I pitch another sachet???
The last thing I want is apple vinegar thank you in advance for any replies!

I had the same problem a couple weeks ago with Nottingham ale yeast. I added some US-05 yeast instead and then it started fermenting right away. I also had good luck with S-04 yeast. I suggest ditching the Nottingham and trying something else. Wine yeasts are also great for this. I like the Cote des Blancs. But yeah, throw in some more yeast right away.

fresh pressed or juice from a store?
Ciders can take a while to take off sometimes especially fresh pressed if you kill off the wild yeast before you pitch
