Simple electric BIAB

For 120v volt outlet you will have 1hot, 1neutral, a ground wire, and a single pole breaker. For a 240v outlet you will have 2hot, a ground, and a double pole breaker. There are 4 wire applications 2hot,1neutral, a ground wire, and a gfci double pole breaker, but the induction plate is not outfitted with a four wire plug. If you are still confused it may be best just to hire an electrician. Good Luck

I started my electric brewery with as little as possible and have been upgrading from there. You can buy a DIY controller from still dragon for $35 and install an element in your pot. I like brewhardware’s element enclosures $40-65. I wired a spa panel, but you can use your dryer outlet with an inline gfi.

Giving this thread a bump because I’m researching to setup an electric brewery.

Chad do you BIAB? Is that the purpose of this element enclosure?

Does the controller allow you to set temperature targets for mash, recirc, etc?
