Should a starter be cloudy after crashing in the fridge?

I cold crashed 2 starters I made yesterday, about 24 hours ago. Both have settled out, but unlike other times I have done this, both are still cloudy and not clear. I don’t want to pour out good yeast when I decant, and in the case of one of them, I do not want to pour a liter+ of DME starter wort in my 2 gallon all grain batch.

Opinions?

Some yeasts need a longer time period to settle out than others. The time period will increase if the yeast was still active when the starter was chilled.

Give yourself more time. 2-3 days to ferment. 2-3 days to crash.

Make your starters the week before you want to brew.
