Shank length

I’m thinking about taking the plunge and ordering four perlicks. What size shank length do you use? These will be going through the door of a standard stand up refrigerator.

Are the shanks sold at our host good quality?

Thanks,

As long as possible  .
The shank helps to keep the faucet cold. The bigger the shank, the better it keeps the faucet cold. Just make sure it won’t hit anything inside the fridge.

Standard is probably 4 inches, but you want to be sure that the shank can go through the door.

All-right, ended up getting 4 1/8" stainless with built in tail piece. Four 525SS’s on the way! Can’t wait.
