Roasting chocolate malt in whirley pop?

Anyone tried using a whirley pop to roast chocolate malt at home? I’ve been really enjoying the results of home-roasted malts, but every resource I’ve found on home-roasting dark malts says do it on the stovetop and stir constantly. Home coffee roasters recommend using a whirley pop for the same reason and I happen to have one. Figured I’d do some experimenting.

Sounds like it would work. give it a shot and let us know how it turns out.
