Many of you have seen this picture before:
My goal is to remove a kettle from the HERMS setup and replace it with an insulated chillzilla. This is my sketch.
The biggest change is in step 4 where efficiency will be lost as you are not rinsing grains with pure water, yet a wort water mix. Some ideas to improve this step would be to use a cooler, or other items, but I would like to remove that third vessel, and not sure what the efficiency loss would be.
