Recipe Starting Point Advice

You must have a sensitive palate. I’ve had molsens golden before and didn’t realize if actually had a taste. When I as younger I used to visit my cousins north of the border and we would drink molsens export which I remembered enjoying.

I used to travel to Ontario frequently. I drank a lot of Labatt’s Blue. I think it’s maybe the equivalent of PBR?

I live in Florida, so my Canadian beer choices are pretty much Molson Golden, Moosehead and Labatt’s Blue.
But I gotta say, Labatt’s is a pretty darned good beer for the price.

I don’t believe molsens or labbats are the same recipes they were back in the day. I think they changed them when they were sold to anhieser bush ( molsen) and labbats ( Coors) I believe Mosehead is still Canadian.

Yea Moosehead is brewed in New Brunswick. Get it on tap out there fresh and it’s pretty damn good. Green bottles distributed in the US not so much imho.
