Recipe Help

A local brewery in San Antonio, TX just posted a link for 6 of there recipes for homebrewers on Facebook. I really want to brew their Oatmeal Pale Ale, but they posted the recipe in percentages, and I don’t really know how to convert it into pounds. Can anyone give some assistance? Any suggestions with the hop amounts and schedule? Here is the recipe:

5.5 Gallon


2 Row: 77%
Crystal 60L: 7%
Oat Malt: 16%


Centennial: Bittering, flavor, aroma, dry-hop
Citra: Flavor, aroma, dry-hop

You’ll still need to give the OG, then someone can figure it out.

If you have beersmith or promash this would be easy as long as you have the OG. I assume they also gave IBU’s for the hops?

With a brewing software you could enter your ingredients and upor lower them until you hit the correct OG with the correct percentages. The recipe is posted like that so it could be made in the amount of 1 gal to 100 barrels.

Here are the rest of the specs:

OG: 1.054-1.057

FG: 1.010-1.012

IBU: 35

SRM Target: 9

I’m relatively new to all this, so it looks like a brewing program would help big time. But any help is definitely appreciated.
