Recipe for a Double IPA... Extract + grains

Im working on a Double IPA recipe but I cant get to fall into the category… Anyone have a good one I can work off of?

The DIPA that NB sells is very decent, I have done both extract and all grain. If you really want to come up with your own, I would work off of that recipe.

Here’s one that I’m drinking now, it’s very well balanced:

12 lbs 8.0 oz Pale Malt (2 Row) US (2.0 SRM) Grain 78.1 %

For extract substitute the pale malt with light extract until you get to the desired gravity. Drop the acid malt and add the FWH additions after steeping the crystal grains while bringing it to a boil.

Here’s my own creation, kegged it on Sunday. Patiently awaiting the fizz. Tasted pretty good flat. Once it’s carbed I expect to be happy. We’ll see :shock:
