Recipe for 1 gallon batch of Peace Coffee 2nd Crack Stout

Can I modify the 5 gallon Peace Coffee 2nd Crack Stout to a 1 gallon extract recipe? Do I just divide all the ingredients by 5? Thanks.

Yes.

If the 5 gallon extract kit is uses a partial boil process with both LME and DME, you may want to convert it to a 1 gallon, full boil, all DME recipe.

Maybe it’s just me, but I was never good at finding a use for 60% of a 3.15 lb jar of LME :frowning:

The math to do the conversion is not difficult. Recipe software can also do this. Personally, I find it easier to do the math than to do the data entry.

I do the same thing. When i create a 150 gall recipi from a 5 gal recipy. First calculate pen and paper. Than check with. Soft ware
