Rate of ramping up for Diacetyl rest?

Hello at what rate does one ramp up the temp for the Diacetyl rest meaning I here some recommend going up by 2f per day to the 65f to 68f. Is there any problems with just dialing your temp controller right to the 65f to 68f. I know it take time for a full 5gal of beer to get up to the 65f to 68f anyway even if you set your temp controller right up to the 65f to 68f. _

I take it straight up. No big deal.

Same here, yesterday just adjusted the temp up on a lager from 50* to 62* for DA rest.
