Hello all. So who’s made the Fixed Gear kit? And what did you get for a final gravity? As of now (2 weeks after pitching yeast) I’m sitting at about 1.014-1.016. I’m thinking this should be close to the FG. I’m just about ready to dry hop. And then on to the bottles. Thanks in advance for the help. Cheers!! :cheers:
I haven’t done that exact kit, but 1.014 is an acceptable FG. If it’s been there for a few days, it is safe to proceed.
Stable hydrometer readings over a period of 3 to 4 days, without large temperature changes, indicates fermentation is complete. Like JMck says, you are good to go.
