Has anyone made a pyment-type mead that uses one of the varietal grape concentrate sold at NB and elsewhere?

Are these concentrates essentially the same as the Vintner’s Harvest fruit bases?

Yes. I’ve made several.

Are these concentrates essentially the same as the Vintner’s Harvest fruit bases?

No. The fruit bases are fruit packed in their own juice.
