Pump up the Jam

Ok so I finally got a single tier system with a pump its been a labor of love.

I have a couple questions:

  1. Can I whirlpool through the ball lock at the bottom of the Keg or do I have to whirlpool through the top?

  2. What other cool neat-o things can I do with my pump that I may not know about.

You could put a HERMS coil in your HLT and use your pump to recirculate wort through the coil for step mashes with your sparge water and get the clearest wort on the planet. :cheers:
