I would like to know if anyone batch primes with DME and how much should I use? I would like to keep my beer within the “German Purity Law”. Thanks in advance
It might take a little experience to know exactly how much to use, because every brand of extract ferments a little differently, but the rule of thumb is to use 1 and 1/4 cups extract to prime 5 gallons. If too little or too much, you can adjust on your next batch. Good luck.
