Just bottled 5.5 gallon apa slipped and added a little more corn sugar than brewsmith recommends added5.11 oz calls for 4.45 oz are they going to blow :?:
If the fermentation was fully done, the extra 10% priming sugar isn’t going to cause you to have bottle bombs. Might be a bit energetic when you open them though.
thanks for the reply i always measured my primer weighed it this time have to pay a little closer attention. Will crack one in a week can always refrigerate a little early if i have to.
It is more accurate to weigh the sugar than to measure it by volume. Most online priming calculators give the amount of sugar to use in ounces weight.
