Power Outage - Temp drop

We got hit with the freak October storm in Ma and lost power for 3 days. My Rye PA was 6 days into fermentation and we lost power. I kept checking my thermometer on the fermenter and it got down to 52 degrees. Do you think it will be ok? We got power back and the last reading was 63 deg. I am using wyeast 1056 (60-72 deg.)

I’ve used US-05 down to that temperature (essentially the same yeast as you). You might want to swirl it back up into suspension to assist things, as well as let the temperature rise over a few days. Then take the hydrometer reading. I bet it will be okay - much better than the opposite in temperature changes.

Got some occasional bubbling and the temp in the fermenter is up to 66 deg. I think I am ok, too.
