So in light of IPA day last week I went to the store and got several “new” IPAs to try out. After big disappointments with both Lilja’s Hop Ness Monster and Lagunitas Maximus, tonight I tried Point brewery’s Behind the Pale IPA with Galaxy hops. Pours a copper color with a nice light foamy head and medium carbonation. Pleasant herbal bouquet leads to a nicely pungent pop of hops followed by a smooth herbal/grassy flavor. Definitely one of the better IPAs I have tried lately.
I will have to keep my eyes out for that one. Thanks for the recommendation.
