First one I have read on here in the past that you don’t need to dry hop as long as they say in the directions . In this recipe I will have 2 different dry hops the first one is to dry hop for 10 to 14 days before bottling the 2 is add hops 4 to 5 days before bottling. Should I cut it back or go with the directions. The second question is that it says the batch size is for a 6 gallons should I go ahead and use 2 carboy and split the receipt in half my carboy is only 6 gallons.
I haven’t brewed this, but I would follow the recipe. I do know its a 6 gal batch and would use 2 carboys if your only other option is a 6 gal carboy. That’s got a lot of blow off and WASTED beer written all over it.
