Plastic or glass

After following another post I was wondering how many of you use plastic soda bottles for your home brew. I don’t use them not only for safety issues but also because I believe in the importance of presentation. I have to admit beer tastes better in a Belgian tulip glass.

I am chronically short of beer bottles (it might have something to do with the 3-5 cases I give away to friends and coworkers each December), so I’ll often use a few soda bottles per batch to have something handy I can bring somewhere, especially if I don’t want to have to bother bringing back empties. Not having ready-to-pack beers is about the only downside to kegging.

Glass. But im not against plastic.
