Pilsner yeast cake for Dopplebock

I have a Czech pilsner fermenting right now. I am going to use the yeast cake for a Dopplebock when I’m done cold crashing it. I would like this pilsner to be very clear so I’m considering using gelatin for the first time. I’m not intimidated by using gelatin for the first time… but I am wondering if adding it will mess with the next fermentation with the same yeast in the same carboy?

No worries you will be fine adding new beer on the yeast cake even with the geliten.

No, it won’t interfere. I pretty much cold crash and gelatin everything, and I reuse yeast slurry frequently. No problem.

Great, thank you guys!
