I know the hop plants’ cousin (who can’t be named) loves a decent amount of phosphorus when it’s blooming. Anyone ever see any info or do any experiments with hop plants? Maybe fertilizing with something high in phosphorus (the middle number on the bag) once the burrs start blooming?
I answered my own question with an internet search ha… Here’s some great info on fertilization of hops and their needs! Turns out hops are in need of Nitrogen (N) and Potassium (K) more so than Phosphorus.
