I just tasted some real chicha de jora last week. It tastes alright but at only like 1% alcohol it is really nothing much to write home about. Still it was a good experience and we should all taste it given the opportunity. I would love to see exactly how it is made. This is one case where I think the process is even more interesting than the final beverage!
