Passivate question?

Hello what the best way to Passivate your new brew kettle??

If it’s stainless you don’t need to. Aluminum, I believe you just boil water in it first. Not sure if it’s needed as it should be food safe. Stainless cookware should already be passivated.

Indeed you only got to do this with a aluminium pot but i would clean. Any brewing kettle. Even stainless steel. Make sure. All the oil residue. From factory is gone. Even. Valves and other connectors.
