Palmer's Elevenses Partial Mash Kit

Hi everyone, I am new to home brew and have purchased the Palmer’s Elevenses Partial mash kit. I was reading the kit instructions and noticed that the directions suggest roasting the flaked oats, which leads me to my question. Should the oats be milled after roasting, or can you just add them to the mash as is after roasting? I have done the Irish Red Ale extract kit with specialty grains and that was pretty easy. I figure it is time to move to something a little more challenging.

Flaked oats are ok going into the mash as is. They have already been gelatinized in order to be pressed, so milling them isn’t necessary.
