Oxygenation

I took the advice of several of you guys and bought an oxygenation wand and valve from NB and a small O2 bottle from Ace Hardware. So far I have used it on 2 batches of ale and the results are amazing! A batch of pale ale started bubbling in a couple hours after 40 seconds of oxygen through an “airstone”. Just finished an Irish Red Ale this afternoon, and did another 40 seconds of O2 in the fermenter and it’s already bubbling in less than an hour. I just sprinkled dry US-05 on top (didn’t rehydrate or make a starter) then turned on the O2. Thanks to all of you and your willingness to share. -Bill
