Optimal temps

So to this point i’ve used mainly us-05 and 1056 which have a range from around 60f to low 70’s. I’ll pitch once the carboy is around 62…and it’ll increase during active ferm to around 68.

Looking at wlp007, the optimal is 68-75. Would it be appropriate to pitch in wort that is around 64 and allow the bugs to increase temps to the 68-70 range?

That seems reasonable to me. I always try to shoot for the lower end of the range and then when fermentation slows, raise it to the upper limit to squeak out the last couple of points.

Thanks!
